At Optimised Personal Wellness
we believe in making the world a better place.
But as with everything else we do, we didn't want to do it 'average', by halves, or with anything less than 100% commitment.
That's why we set up our very own charity called The Break Out Project (BOP) which provides a way out for street and slum children living in Mumbai, India.
There are up to 150 million street children around the world living in desperate circumstances, severely malnourished, with poor sanitation, lack of clean water and at risk of abuse and exploitation. They have little or no opportunity of lifting themselves out of their situation and making a better future for themselves.
What you won't find in our charity is money being spent on travel and dining expenses, or advertising - we want the money we raise to go directly to the streets of Mumbai where it belongs and where it can have the most impact.
Plus: Every year Optimised organises events in order to raise funds for The Break Out Project. In 2011 we took a group to the Annapurna Circuit in Nepal, we've organised indoor climbing events, 10k and marathon teams, and there's much more to come.

"We are guilty of many errors and many faults, but our worst crime is abandoning the children, neglecting the foundation of life. Many of the things we need can wait. The child cannot. Right now is the time his bones are being formed, his blood is being made and his senses are being developed.
To him we cannot answer "Tomorrow". His name is "Today"."
