When it comes to achieving the very best results, we leave nothing to chance and no stone unturned.
Getting the right test at the right time can identify the true, underlying causes of sub-optimal health, pinpointing specific imbalances or sub-optimal markers of health (e.g. hormones, vitamins, minerals, enzymes, pathogens) so that you get better, faster, more sustainable results that lead to outstanding health and wellbeing for life.
The unique way in which we work, combined with our relationships with the finest testing laboratories in the world (both here and in the USA), means we're in a position to achieve better, faster, and more profound results with our clients.
Our expert interpretation of what the results mean for you offers the most complete picture of your health, and this means we can put in place personal health plan which is based on a solid understanding of the real cause of the problem.
To put it simply, appropriate testing, together with the correct interpretation and our advanced protocols, can help you look, feel and perform better in record time.
On-site phlebotomy services
We offer blood draw and centrifuge (spinning of samples) services on-site, for either any testing through one of our Optimised practitioners, or for other private testing.
If you're woking with a different practitioner, outside of Optimised, and have a private test, please phone the clinic on 0161 834 4706, or email the Clinic Director, Dee, on email@example.com, to arrange a phlebotomy (blood draw) appointment.
Please let us know at the time of booking, if the sample requires spinning. Please ensure you have arranged the return of the samples to the appropriate laboratory e.g. courier service, or some samples may be returned by Royal Mail Special Delivery (please check with the lab receiving your samples). We are happy to take multiple blood draws at the same appointment (e.g. if you have more than one test, or require more than one sample tube collecting), at no extra cost.
Phlebotomy appointment fee is £25.
So why is our testing different?
Because we look at causes, rather than symptoms, we need testing that gives us the right information needed to identify root causes of symptoms, and design effective protocols that get results.
We could ask you to visit your GP surgery to have a specific test performed and bring the results to us - and we do. But often, your GP does not have access to the same specialist, functional testing we do, or can't perform a test due to clinical or cost restrictions.
Even when we receive test results from the NHS or other health provider (often one of the first things we ask for with new clients when health issues are present), our interpretation of those results, and the recommended course of action, can be quite different.
The “normal” range used by the NHS or private health provider is set for the “normal” general population (a large proportion of whom are sick and/or overweight), and with financial considerations in mind, not necessarily for your optimal health. We often interpret your results (even if you got them from the NHS), using different ranges designed to achieve optimal health, not just prevent immediate issues.
Depending on your specific needs, we’re able to test and assess a wide range of critical markers from:
- Saliva (best for certain hormone tests)
With these samples we can test for an extensive range of substrates, metabolites, minerals, toxins, pathogens and vitamins. A small selection are:
- Comprehensive Digestive Stool Analysis
- Microbiology Profile
- Food Intolerance tests (IgG or IgE)
- Organic acids
- Fertility profiles
- Red cell zinc, magnesium or folate
- Genetic testing
- Oestrogen metabolism
- Coeliac Profile
